Saturday, October 30th, 2021

Re-Arranged Date – Originally Planned for April 2020

Headline – Ed Gamble

Stand-up comedian Ed Gamble is a regular on Mock the Week (BBC2) and is becoming an increasingly familiar face on television in shows including Live At The Apollo (BBC Two), 8 out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) and Roast Battle (Comedy Central). He is also the co-presenter or Radio X’s Sunday morning show with Matt Crosby, and co-hosts the smash-hit podcast Off Menu with James Acaster. He will also be on the new series of Task Master.

Opening – Garrett Millerick (replacing Lou Sanders)

Garrett Millerick is an acclaimed stand up comedian, writer and director. One of the stand out live acts of his generation, his unique and versatile style has led to him being in great demand on the alternative and club circuits both in the UK and internationally and in 2019 he made his television debut performing stand-up on the hit US late-night talk show  Conan (TBS).
His breakout live show  Sunflower became one of the best reviewed and most talked about shows of 2018, both at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and subsequently at London’s Soho Theatre. The show saw packed houses for both runs and added additional shows to cope with demand. The show received rave reviews and featured in critic’s choice lists across the national press, was Time Out London’s No.1 Comedy Pick for February 2019, and secured Garrett a nomination for ‘Breakthrough Act’ at the 2019 Chortle Awards.  Sunflower was recorded as an album and is available to  pre-order internationally from 800 Pound Gorilla Records.

Middle – Glenn Moore

Glenn Moore (List) follows up last year’s Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination with a new hour of ‘brilliantly original’ (Chortle.co.uk), ‘blissfully silly’ (Guardian) jokes. He used to have a very different job to this, and now he’s finally brave enough to spill the beans about it. **** (Guardian, Chortle.co.uk, Evening Standard, List). As seen on Mock The Week, Stand Up Central, The Stand Up Sketch Show and as heard on Absolute Radio.
