Headline Act – Rosie Jones

With her infectious laugh and high energy, Rosie Jones has quickly become a must-see act on the UK comedy circuit. The ex-television researcher was awarded second place in the Leicester Mercury’s New Comedian Of The Year Award 2018 and has gone on to star on Live At The Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg, Rosie Jones Tries To Help, Live From The Comedy Store, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, Comedy Central UK’s Roast Battle, Mock The Week, Hypothetical, The Ranganation, Jon Richardson’s Channel Hopping, Dating No Filter and The Last Leg Tokyo as well as fronting not one, but two, travelogue series for Channel 4 – Trip Hazard and Mission: Accessible. Rosie has completed two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with both Fifteen Minutes and Backward receiving critical acclaim, including the Scotsman describing her show as ‘both elegantly crafted and mischievous to its bones’.

Most importantly, James has been touring his brand new solo show Bring Back The 80s, to packed out crowds, including sell outs shows at the Edinburgh Festival, and is touring it across the south resuming in January 2022, with extra dates added!
In addition, the BBC approached James recently to be the featured comedian for an episode of their new series “Knock Knock” – a show where 10 professional comedians from around England talk to Helen about their life, their home town, and their comedy influences and career.

The previous year James was asked to support Dane Baptiste on his UK tour and Jo Brand the year before that, whilst also filming a new Sky Christmas comedy show, which aired in the UK at Christmas 2020.

Opening Act – Scott Bennett

After starting comedy in late 2009, Scott is a standup comedian and writer who’s star is most definitely on the rise. His last two shows Leap Year and Relax were nominated for ‘Best Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival and has been named by Chortle as One To Watch for 2018 and 19.
His debut hour stand up show About a Roy was nominated for the highly acclaimed Amused Moose Comedy Award and was selected as one of the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015.
He has appeared on Live at the Apollo BBC1, BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show, The Likely Dads and Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican, The Summer Festival with Daliso Chaponda, The Comedy Club with Arthur Smith, and Knock Knock with Helen Lederer. He also featured on the BBC One show, Live from The Edinburgh Fringe.
He also features on the new Nationwide adverts, released in 2020 and 2021.
During the lockdown of 2020, Scott pioneered the viral hit, Stand up from the Shed, a weekly topical live streamed stand up show from his actual garden shed. The show achieved national coverage in the press, Sky News, BBC News and Five Live and has had over 150,000 views.
