Headline – Zoe Lyons

Zoe Lyons is a sharp-witted British comedian known for her punchy observational humour and energetic delivery. Rising to fame after winning the Funny Women Award in 2004, she has become a familiar face on shows like Mock the Week, QI, and Live at the Apollo. A psychology graduate turned performer, Lyons blends personal experiences with social commentary, often drawing on her journey with alopecia and life as a lesbian woman. She lives in Brighton with her wife and dog, and continues to be a standout voice in UK comedy.

Opening – Eddy Brimson

To say East Ender Eddy Brimson has a colourful past is something of an understatement. A self-confessed former football hooligan before turning his hands to better use as a writer and comedian, Eddy has written a host of amusing anecdotal books, penned and hosted a top three selling video ‘Teargas and Tantrums’, and is also a regular “talking head’ for numerous radio and TV shows on subjects as diverse as football, dodgy builders and sexy baldness. As an actor, he has appeared on such diverse programmes as Absolutely Fabulous, The Thin Blue Line, Casualty, The Bill and EastEnders, where he played, you’ve guessed it, an East End villain, who torched Frank’s car lot.

Eddy was also a presenter on the Bravo TV show The Basement covering topics as varied as the British Lawn Mower Grand Prix to a live hair transplant. Eddy is a prolific writer, having penned seven best-selling books. With sales topping 160,000, Eddy has built himself a cult following among British and European football fans.

I regulary host the BBC Radio 4 Extra Comedy Club.

I’ve done tour support for the likes of Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, John Bishop, Susi Ruffell, Lucy Beaumont amongst others.

I do TV Warm Up, I do acting when I’m allowed and I’m addicted to chillies, cheese and various other things beginning with the letter C.

I am a tarot reader, and have weirdo genes (and jeans depending on the day)

I’m one half of the award nominated podcast Spit or Swallow which is flipping marvellous and you should listen to it immediately.

I trained at the Oxford School of Speech and Drama many years ago, and was told off for not taking acting too seriously, hence, me, now and this.

I’m an advocate for the wonderful charity Saying Goodbye (Mariposa Trust) that help people through the loss of a child.
