Now, in the present day, something is very wrong.
In the cheerful village of Sunnydelle, summer has vanished overnight. Snow falls from clear blue skies, ice creeps across rooftops, and winter has come far too soon. Is it climate chaos… or is something far more sinister at work? And why has Ingrid, the kindest and most beloved girl in the village, suddenly disappeared without a trace?
With the world freezing fast, hope rests on the shoulders of her brave little sister Annie and a delightfully daft band of unlikely heroes. Their quest will take them through troll-infested forests, up towering mountains and into the breathtaking Ice Castle itself, where the chilling power behind it all awaits…
